Christ at the Crossroads is organized and operated exclusively for religious purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, or the corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue law in order to:
1. Minister the Word of God.
2. Conduct regular religious worship services through various forms of ministries.
3. Promote and encourage, through ministries of the organization, cooperation with other organizations ministering within the community.
4. Spread the Word of the Gospel by ministering to all through seminars, radio, television, and other forms of mass media.
5. Conduct a local and partnership by the direction of the Lord Jesus Christ and under the leadership of the Holy Spirit in accordance with all the provisions as set forth in the Bible.
A. Definition
The members of Christ at the Crossroads are those who have recognized that this is where God has placed them in order to express their commitment to Him in the context of Christian family and community. They have accepted the responsibilities of commitment and submission to the authority of the Directors. Their commitment is recognized by other members of the church.
B. Reception Of Members
Any Christian who desires to make Christ at the Crossroads their home church will be welcomed into membership through application to the Senior Pastor and/or Board of Directors of the church. Those applying have made/or will make a satisfactory profession of faith, have been baptized/or will be baptized in water as believers, and understand the privileges and responsibilities of membership. The Board of Directors may create alternative methods for membership reception at their discretion.
C. Application
The person desiring membership shall initiate the membership process in Christ at the Crossroads. Application for membership shall be made on the forms provided by the Corporation.
D. Review of Membership
The church staff shall annually review the member roll. Members who no longer meet the requirements for membership as outlined in Article 3, Section B, shall be purged from the member roll after an affirmative vote by the Board of Directors.
